Where your data lives

Sessions, transcripts, stories, and scratchpads are stored in this browser's IndexedDB. Nothing is uploaded. Clearing the browser's site data (or using a different browser/device) will start you fresh.

Browser support

Live transcription uses the Web Speech API, which works in Chrome and Edge on the desktop. Safari has partial support and may not transcribe reliably. Use Interview Lifeguard on a second screen — never on a screen you are sharing.
